 Ecstatic Dance Waimea is an opportunity to "dance your prayers" and let the motion of your body-mind-heart be the prayer. It is a time to dance for fun, "dance like no one is watching" and let your spirit fly! Ecstatic Dance Waimea is also a time to create new friendships, deepen current relationships and cultivate community. This celebratory dance often extends out into our lives, our weeks and sometimes into lunch! Children are welcome. There is no experience necessary for this class, just a willingness to move and be moved! Dates: 3rd Saturday of the Month Time: 6:50 pm to 8:00 pm Cost: $10.00 to $20.00 donation (children 12 and under are free) Location: The Green Church Studio, Ke Ola Mau Loa - right off Hwy 19; This dance is in the north part of the Big Island of Hawaii, on the east side of Waimea also known as Kamuela. If you are coming from Honoka'a (the east) you will see a row of churches on your right with a big open space in front of them. If you are coming Waimea or west/north of Waimea you will see the churches on your left as you are leaving Waimea. Turn into this area with several churches and park in front of the Green Church on the lawn. We dance in the green building right next to the Green Church.
